Sugar Scrubs are the best for the winter season. I get dry, itchy skin from the cold and something that helps me are sugar scrubs. In this scrub I like using raw sugar because of the health benefits it provides. Raw sugar can improve circulation, increase blood cell production and digestion. The skin craves hydration and this is exactly what it needs. Many of the best make-up products use raw sugar. Along with the raw sugar i also put a few drops of lavender oil, eucalyptus and peppermint. This mixture brings in a soothing penetrating scrub. The lavender is popular for calming the nerves but also have properties where it can calm itchy skin. During the winter season, colds and flu are common. That's where the eucalyptus comes in. It can help to cleanse the body of toxins and harmful micro organisms that make you feel sick. I also put a hint of peppermint to induce the smell just a tad, but more so for the benefits. Peppermint oil is great for sore muscles and cramps. Due to its antibacterial properties it also can help to cure acne. This combination with lavender, eucalyptus and peppermint, this one sugar scrub i would want forever.

The last week of 2016
Hope everyone had a great Christmas! To me Christmas is all about feeling love and the lightness of life as the end of the year closes in. This holiday is also about the importance of family. As i get older i realize my family is the most strongest item to my heart and its unfortunate some people lose that or don't have family during the holidays. This is where i say i am blessed to have my family and everyone of my friends. Around this time of any year, it seems to always remind you of what you have and don't have.
As for 2017 i am starting off with a 31 day yoga challenge from yoga with adriene. Everyday i will post the affirmation of the day which adriene has already come up with. If you are interested of doing this 31 day yoga challenge you can check out yogawithadriene.com. The challenge will start on january 1st. I believe to start off the new year with a new mindset with new goals.
Love,
Kaysla

You comes first
Living in a world like today many of us suffer from chronic pain whether in our neck, back, legs or feet. We have jobs that can affect our bodies without even knowing there is damage being done. Or we have day to day errands, chores, kids and family we need to take care of. Our bodies will learn to adapt without even knowing at the moment and you ask yourself when did this pain start and it feels never ending. If you see yourself falling into these categories, it is important to understand YOU as human being do come first. Before you start your day as mother, employee, athlete, doctor, etc. it is important to take care of your body, mind and soul. If you want to go on your days and years feeling your best then start thinking about yourself and what your body needs. This can be more fruit, vegatables, fish or chicken. It can also be maybe taking a run, walking or lifting weights or even taking art classes! Whatever you need to do for YOU. And again maybe doing yoga. Stretching should be in your daily routine. Wake up those mucles and joints and feel you are
One. So what are you going to do, start thinking what your body needs! Have a bless day everyone much love

Don't forget to stretch!
Stretching is just important than a regular work out. If you have body aches and feeling tight just take 20 minutes of your day and stretch. Here are few benefits from stretching;
For your body:
For your body:
- Helps to improve flexibility and range of motion
- Helps to maintain our posture For example, many of us use computers which we are not mindful when our shoulders and neck lean forward and our chest muscles become tight.
- Decrease injury before we do any type of body activity
- Increase blood flow and nutrients to muscles which then decrease any muscle soreness.
For your mind:
- Within 10-20 minutes of stretching it can help calm your mind
- Recharge and refresh
- Yoga classes can help release tension physically and mentally.
I personally enjoy doing yoga every morning, especially when I know i have a lot to do that day. Because of my profession, yoga is also very helpful to gather my energy and focus every breath as I stretch my muscles. I highly recommend yoga. It can help people who are going through anxiety or depression. Yoga can be challenging and if you want to do better for yourself, yoga just might be what you are looking for. For anyone who doesn't have time or money to go to yoga studio you can go on youtube.com and search yoga with adriene. Yoga with adriene has a 30 day challenge and I loved it! Adriene is great and she is easy to follow. Everyday is different which is awesome and as you go through the videos you will learn to do some stretches on your own time.
